“ Masudaya exceeded my expectation for taste and warm service from the beginning. The restaurant really feels like a small family business and you always walk away happy and full. I’m not gonna lie I go there because the owner reminds me of my own late mother with her bright smile and personality. The tiger roll will not disappoint. The chicken and beef teriyaki are better than most places. Chicken Katsu has a unique crunch and flavor that will pleasantly surprise you. The egg roll and fried dumplings are competent. The salad dressing, sushi ginger, and Katsu sauce, the little things are done right. Food comes out quick and it’s just overall a pleasant no-nonsense place to spend eating a meal. Looking forward to make it a place my toddlers will remember eating at for years to come. ”

To my absolute delight, the Teriyaki Masudaya is still standing! I had the pleasure of stopping by last week to eat my favorite there, their house plate with beef, chicken, and prawn alongside a salad with their signature dressing.. and I was so happy to find that the recipes have been passed down from the original owners, tastes just as good as I remember. Always a lovely management/staff as well. Thank you TM for still standing when so many others have fallen. You are a symbol of my childhood and I plan to keep coming back. ”
